Following the success of the PFMA Rabbit Symposium in 2018, PFMA will be holding the second species-specific seminar and discussion forum, this time all about pet parrots and other birds kept in captivity.
• To provide the latest science on parrot (and pet birds) nutrition and welfare
• Opportunity for all attendees to take part in discussions
• To identify key educational messages and next steps in scientific research
• A networking opportunity for pet professionals

There will be a number of short talks (10-15 minutes each) on different aspects of pet birds’ health and welfare in relation to nutrition and feeding behaviour. There will also be break-out group discussions, panel discussions and a Q&A session.
