PFMA has transformed its highly successful residential course into a series of online webinars appealing to a wide range of pet professionals in the UK and beyond.

PFMA’s Popular Pet Food & Nutrition Course Launches Online

If you are a small animal vet, vet nurse, animal nutritionist or work within animal feed and premix manufacturing or retail, this online training course might be for you!


Running from 14-23 July, the interactive webinars will be delivered in 5 half day sessions, led by top UK pet food consultants, scientists and vets. The course is CPD certified with a digital certificate of attendance on completion.        

Course content include an introduction to the following topics:

  • Pet nutrition (canine, feline, small mammals including rabbits, pet birds and pet fish)
  • Manufacturing safe pet food (dry, wet, raw and complementary products)
  • Pet food Legislation (Animal by-products, additives and feed materials)
  • Product labelling and marketing regulations
