We are excited to announce that following the successful PFMA Webinar Series in July, we are hosting the training course again this month due to high demand. Tickets for the PFMA Training Webinar Series: Pet Food & Nutrition (20th-29th October) are now on sale, with 20% discount for veterinary professionals (e.g. vets, vet nurses & students) pet welfare charities and re-homing staff.
This is a great opportunity for pet professionals to improve or refresh their knowledge of pet nutrition and feeding, pet food legislation, labelling and claims, and manufacturing techniques, with presentations from some of the most experienced UK industry experts.
Running from 20-29 Oct, the interactive webinars will be delivered in 5 half-day sessions, to accommodate busy work schedules, and include two core streams of Pet Nutrition (canine, feline, small mammals, pet birds and pet fish) and Pet Food Legislation & Manufacturing. See the full programme.
On completion of the training, participants should be able to take away key messages from each topic and identify a range of guidelines, key pieces of legislation, factsheets, posters, calorie calculators and other educational resources to be used in vet practices, pet shops and re-homing centres. A certificate of attendance will be provided to participants by email on completion of the webinar series.
To help make this training opportunity accessible to a wider range of pet professionals, PFMA is offering a 20% discount to all those working within the veterinary profession, pet welfare and re-homing charities, and a group booking discount (for 3 tickets more more).
Those interested can choose to register for the Full Webinar Series (five half-days of webinars) or only sign up to Pet Nutrition (two half-days) or Pet Food Legislation & Manufacturing (three half-days).
