The Pet Food Manufacturers’ Association (PFMA) recently launched a new Associate Member category for those who work closely with the pet food industry. PFMA is delighted to welcome onboard Pets at Home as its founding Associate Member.

PFMA is the active hub for pet food manufacturers and suppliers to network and engage in areas of mutual interest. PFMA is highly regarded for its expertise in nutrition and provides specialist training and knowledge support. In a recent survey, 100% of members valued the PFMA’s effectiveness as an overarching industry representative.

Michael Bellingham PFMA Chief Executive comments: “We have worked with Pets at Home for a number of years in the animal welfare forums. Having them now onboard as an Associate Member presents really exciting opportunities particularly with regards to education for owners on pet nutrition.”

Pets at Home adds: "This is an exciting opportunity for Pets at Home and we are delighted to be on board as an associate member. We look forward to the benefits that membership will bring, including closer collaboration with the PFMA, and manufacturers which will enable us to continue to deliver the very best products and services to our customers and of course their pets!"

The pet food industry: Playing a part in sustainability and reducing carbon emissions

encourage social awareness, and contribute to wellbeing. As an industry, we have a responsibility to balance the needs of the population (pets and people) with protecting the environment for future generations.
