Here’s a tip - you should be able to feel your cat’s ribs but not see them. If you can’t feel their ribs they’re probably eating too much! Once a month, have a go with our Cat Size-O-Meter (Ask your mum or dad to show you how) - it’s a great way to make sure your cat is keeping trim!

TASTY TREATS: I know, purring around your legs it’s so tempting to give them a bit of your own food, but go easy! Our food is much richer and it’s a quick way for your cat to get fat!

Even too many special cat treats can make them overweight so don’t give them too many, and if you do treat you might have to cut down on its main meal.

You don’t like eating from dirty bowls and neither does your cat! So keep them clean, and don’t wash them with human dishes. If they’re plastic you might they might need changing once in a while too.
